Flint: Tributes paid to 13-year-old Bagillt crash victim

TRIBUTE has been paid to an ‘incredible’ 13-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in a recent road accident in Flintshire.

Lacie Jade was a student at Flint High School.

His mother, Kieley Messham, paid him a touching tribute.

“Lacie Jade, my little girl – I say little, but she’s been dominating me since she was 11,” Kieley said.

“I can’t put into words how amazing Lacie was, I really can’t.

“She’s always been the biggest closeout seller in our house, but in the best way, Lacie loved to make people laugh. Saying that, she also found herself hilarious.”

Kieley continued, “I would do anything to hear that laugh again, literally anything.

“Lacie would jump into my bed and wouldn’t leave until she shared some of her stories from her day, she was dancing with me just because. She had long heart-to-heart conversations with me while I was relaxing in the bath and she would just sit on the floor.

“Lacie looked up to and loved her big sister, Paige, and would make the best of any situation.

“She loved her younger siblings and actually became mother hen to her little sister, Amelia, and from there I knew Lacie would have made the most loving and funniest mom.”

Kieley said: “She had so much on her and I wish I could say it all, but no words will bring her home, to me and to us.

“Talking with her best friends, I now realize that Lacie was a rebel in the making, she broke some rules and in doing so she created some of the best memories with all of her friends – she was so popular.

“Lacie and Chloe (her best friend) were united at the hip and I will always be grateful to her for having this amazing, crazy, funny friendship. She was so happy.

“She is loved and always will be. I don’t ever want to hear her name, and I will try to keep Lacie’s memories alive – whether it’s crying or laughing, she will be remembered.”

Kieley added: “I can’t understand all of this, no mother should have this too. Lacie – I’m sorry I’m at a loss for words, you’re one of a kind and no words can express how how broken we are that your life was taken from you.

“We all love you and will miss you everyday, until we meet again, my mini me – I love you so, so much.

“Love mom, Lee-jay, Paige, Heidi, Rhys and little Amelia xx”

A fundraising page in memory of Lacie raised £8,600.
